Shore Dance Center opened its doors in 2012 to the Point Pleasant and surrounding communities with a simple goal: to create a place where children could discover a love for dance, while dancers and their families felt welcomed, encouraged and supported.

Over the last 15 years, our SDC family has continued to grow. We've expanded into three studio spaces, broadened our class offerings and built a thriving competitive program for dancers looking to take their training to the next level. Today, we proudly offer dance education for a wide range of ages, experience levels and goals, from a dancer's very first class through advanced competitive training.

SDC is proud to have watched our dancers carry their training beyond our studio walls. Many have gone on to dance professionally, earn positions on collegiate dance teams, perform in theatrical productions and pursue a variety of opportunities in the performing arts.

As we celebrate our 15th season, we’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built and the dancers who have grown up at Shore Dance Center. We look forward to continuing to welcome new dancers through our doors, sharing our love of dance and being a place our SDC families are proud to call home.
