tiny tots ballet

Our Tiny Tots program is designed for our youngest dancers, ages 2-3. In this 45-minute class, your baby ballerina will develop a basic understanding of dance and ballet through creative movement, songs and dance, all while having lots of fun!

preschool ballet

Our Preschool Ballet program is offered to dancers ages 3-4. In this full hour class, your dancer will continue to develop their understanding of dance and ballet through creative movement, songs and dance, and basic ballet technique.

ballet / tap combo

Our Ballet/Tap Combo Program begins with students ages 4-5 years old and extends through ages 6-7. Our younger students will begin to learn the basics of tap dance and continue growing their ballet skill set, while our older students will continue growing upon what they have learned, preparing them for full-hour classes at age 7. This class will perform 2 dances in our recital.

jazz / hip-hop combo

Our Jazz/Hip Hop Combo Program begins with students ages 4-5 year old and extends through ages 6-7. Our younger students will begin to learn the basics of stretching and jazz technique as well as basic hip hop movement. Our older students will build upon their skills in both jazz and hip hop, preparing them for full-hour classes at age 7. This class will perform 2 dances in our recital.

jazz / tap combo

Our Jazz/Tap Combo Program is for students ages 6-8 who are not quite ready to make a commitment to a full-hour class. In this program, students will learn the basics of Jazz Technique and Dance and Tap Dance, and move into more intermediate skills as the year progresses. This class will perform 2 dances in our recital.

Our Triple Combo Program is a 1 ½ hour class designed for students ages 6-7. In this class, your dancer will learn and build upon Tap, Jazz and Ballet basics along with improving tap steps, jazz technique and dance, and further developing their ballet understanding and appreciation. This class will perform 3 dances in our recital.

tap

Tap is a rhythm, style and musicality-based style of dance that incorporates making music with your feet! In this full-hour class your dancer will participate in skills and drills to help warm up their feet and speed up their sounds, as well as learn basic tap steps. Once basic tap steps are mastered, tappers will begin growing upon those mastered steps with more challenging combinations. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital and dancers can begin taking full-hour tap at age 7.

Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. This full-hour program will take your dancer through barre warm-up exercises, as well as across the floor progressions and center work. This class will help your dancer develop the proper technique needed to excel in all dance styles. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital and dancers can begin taking full-hour ballet at age 7.

jazz

Jazz is rich in history and technique and is a very fun class for your dancer to take. In this full-hour class, your dancer will develop their flexibility, strength and technique as well as participate in combinations both across the floor and in the center. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital, and this class is open to students ages 7 and older.

lyrical

Lyrical is hybrid of ballet and jazz technique, merging the two together to tell a story through movement. In this full-hour class, your dancer will develop their flexibility, strength and technique as well as participate in combinations across the floor and in the center. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital, and this class is open to students ages 6 and older.

contemporary

Similar to Lyrical, Contemporary is a hybrid of ballet and jazz technique with a story-telling focus. In this full-hour class, your dancer will develop their flexibility, strength and technique as well as participate in combinations across the floor and in the center. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital, and this class is open to Teen and Senior students only.

pointe

Pointe is an advanced style of ballet that requires dancers to perform in a Pointe shoe – which is a ballet slipper with a hard box the student dances on top of. To be En Pointe, students must demonstrate exceptional ballet technique, strength and determination in their full-hour ballet class. Students must be recommended by their Ballet Instructor to move onto Pointe. This class is 45 minutes and will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital. Pointe is invite-only.

hip - hop

Hip Hop is a super fun style of dance that incorporates various different sub-styles of hip hop into choreography and learning. In this full-hour class, your dancer will work on their strength and flexibility along with understanding of various hip-hop styles. They will participate in combinations across the floor and in the center. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital, and dancers can begin taking Hip Hop at 7 years old.

acrobatics

Acro focuses on flexibility and technique through various tricks, skills and stretches practiced weekly. In this full-hour class, your acrobat will work on their flexibility and strength in the center, and then work their way across the mat learning and practicing skills they learn. This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital and dancers can begin taking Acro at 4 years old.

musical theater

Musical Theater is a Broadway Dance based class that incorporates Jazz and Ballet technique. In this class, your dancer will work on their strength and flexibility, as well as gain a greater understanding for what Musical Theater truly is. They will participate in across the floor combinations to grow their technique as well as center combinations to embody musical theater dancing. *Please note that this is not a vocal class and the focus is strictly on dance.* This class will perform 1 dance in our end of year recital, and dancers can begin taking Musical Theater at 7 years old.
